After 20 years of coaching football at Sonoraville and Red Bud Middle Schools, and 25 total years of service, Eddie Jones has retired from his coaching and athletic director duties.  Coach William Bryant will be the new head football coach and co-athletic director, alongside Coach Pat Hensley. Prior to being named head coach at Red Bud, Bryant was a defensive assistant at Sonoraville High School.  He coached football at Red Bud Middle School for three years, joining the Phoenix Nation after also coaching football at Ashworth Middle and Gordon Central High School.  Coach Bryant has been employed by Gordon County Schools for nine years. Coach Bryant and his wife, Chrissy, have two sons, Blade and Brant. According to Bryant: "I want to build on the foundation that Coach Eddie Jones has laid here at Red Bud.  Our goal is to produce high character student athletes who go on to do great things at Sonoraville High School."
